Can I use the filtration system in winter?

For wintertime use of the filtration system, you will need the frost protector and the insulated lid as frost protection. Ice can quickly form in the narrow hose connecting the hot tub to the filter, which is why the frost protector should always be turned on at subzero temperatures.

The filter, pump and frost protector should be stored in a frost-free area e.g. in a wooden box with insulation, in a shed or underneath a terrace. Otherwise, the cold can damage the system if there is a power outage.
