What long-term maintenance is recommended?

Skargards hot tubs actually require very little maintenance. All materials have been carefully selected for their durability in outdoor environments. 

For those who want to preserve the red-brown colour of the cladding, steps and side table, it is recommended to apply wood oil or varnish with UV protection once a year. Otherwise, the wood will turn silver grey after a year or so which can also look good and will not affect durability. It is ultimately a matter of personal preference.

The wooden stove fence of the Panel model should be coated with paraffin oil twice a year.

If ordered with the hot tub, regularly clean the insulated lid with mild soap, lukewarm water and a cloth.
